Helpfulness of staff all round and especially when I was not sure how long we would need or be able to stay (staying to support a family member in Salisbury hospital) and had to change rooms Excellent position for visiting Salisbury centre and the hospital by car or bus Generally good cooked breakfast Evening meals were generally tasty and choice was varied, allowing for say two starters instead of starter and main Comfy bed Walk in shower My husband was only there part of the time so I was pleased to find the hotel very safe and easy when alone Being left in peace in the lounge

The welcome when we checked in was very friendly and this continued throughout our stay. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful: reception, breakfast and housekeeping. We had a really lovely stay and would definitely return if we stay in Salisbury again. The hotel building has an olde worlde charm but the rooms are well equipped with a lovely large bed and a great shower. We had an extensive breakfast choice which we thoroughly enjoyed. We wished we could have had longer than one night's stay! Hope to return in the future.

Firstly I want to say how June a member of staff at the hotel was so conscientious while we were having breakfast each morning She was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble keeping everything running so smoothly. Hopefully the management will see what a great asset she is to the Hotel. The gentleman that was also on the reception desk again was very polite and we were greeted with a smile something that isn't always the case when staying in the u.k hotels. Overall I would certainly recommend a stay in this hotel.

Really lovely hotel set in a beautiful historical town. The Mercure in Salisbury is a real gem. The staff went above and beyond. I suffer with autoimmune hypoglycaemia, after having a shower my sugar dropped very low. I alerted staff via the qr code in the room and within literally a minute there were biscuits delivered to me :) . illuminated bathroom mirrors 😍ideal for makeup application. I Will definitely be booking to come back and stay again. Would highly recommend.

Location was superb, the room and bathroom was very spacious and comfortable, very nicely decorated with wonderful in room amenities! The building is beautiful, I especially loved the revolving door at the entrance and the old signage on display. For the price, it was excellent value and felt like such a treat.
